[SR] Missing Library Objects in newer version

Applicable to: Lumion 11 and 12

1. Question

1.1: After upgrading to a newer version of Lumion (11 or 12) a user has noticed that some Library Objects are missing from the Lumion Library and is asking how can he use those Library Objects.

2. Standard Reply

2.1: Answer Option 1 (If the user upgraded to Lumion 12):

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and for the question.

The Library objects you are referring to can be found in the _legacy folder (C:\Program Files\Lumion 12.x\ArchitectEdition\Project\People and Animals\_legacy) and the reason for that is that they are outdated and have quite a low quality.

However, if you want to use them, simply place them in an .LS(Version) file in Lumion (Version) and open it in Lumion 12:

Or Merge the .LS(Version) file with an .LS12 one:

Let us know if that works for you or if anything is unclear.

2.2: Answer Option 2 (If the user upgraded to Lumion 11):

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and for the question.

The Library objects you are referring to have been moved to the People and Animals -> People - 3D - Static Category. The reason for that is that they have quite a low quality and are outdated. Moreover, in Lumion 12 they have a special_legacy folder.

Hope that answers your inquiry.
